Naheed Akhtar is a bilingual poet and writer based in Hyderabad, India. Her latest collection, The Jaipur Diary, gathers memory, colour, and silence into poems of quiet intensity. Her earlier books—Phantasms of My Heart, The Earth’s Love, The Morphine, Beyond the Clouds, and Let the Womb Hold and Other Poems—trace a journey from intimate longing to philosophical depth.
An Assistant Professor of English and a PhD Research Scholar in ELT, she writes where scholarship meets lyricism. She is a recipient of the Gujarat Sahitya Akademi Award, and her work appears on leading literary platforms across India.
